Team Meeting; 5 Dec 2014!

The dreaded finals are finally over (yay!) and with one less thing to worry about, the team had our second team meeting! As with the previous meeting at Nandos, it began with ice-breakers (think games like having each group stand on a piece of newspaper for 10 seconds, and then folding it, and repeating till we can't all fit onto the piece). It was actually pretty fun, and the games probably fulfilled their intended purpose of warming us up and, well, breaking the ice.

And of course, the forfeits...

Anyway! After all of that, we headed back and got started with the serious stuff. The first thing on the agenda was to decide on a mascot for our project. After a round of voting, we're proud to present the 2015 Cheway! mascot, done by our very own Publicity head! Here it is:

He'll be making his appearance on merchandise and publicity efforts soon!

The various sub-committee heads then updated the team on the upcoming tasks and activities, relative to the entire project timeline. We've got prototype trials, programme run-throughs and fundraisers coming up, among other activities, so do stay tuned to this space for more updates! 

Before we ended, we held a vote to decide on what to do for our Cheway! outing that is happening at the end of December. It seems we're headed to ECP for a day of sports/picnic/BBQ, so that's something to look forward to as well :) Don't forget your Secret Santa too guys!
