Finals should be more or less over for everyone. Congrats guy, you have survived another semester, or your very first for year 1s! Time to call for some celebration before 23rd Dec (Don't remind us! Yes i know HAHAHA!)
Just a short update about Cheway! We have confirmed to be working with Mercy Relief! Just in case you don't know who they are, Mercy Relief is a NGO that aids post-disaster stricken countries recover from their current states. We feel that it will be a truly meaning cause to be able to work with them, thanks Jingmin for your recommendation! As for the location, we will be going over to Tacloban City for our trip, the actual dates TBC!

Tacloban City, post Typhoon Haiyan condition
Q&A:
1) OMG, the condition looks crazy, will it be safe?
- Don't worry about the safety. The city has strong post-disaster communities that have cleared up much of the debris. This photo was taken a few years back. They have in fact built a temporary shelter that is definitely away from the coast and is assured to be safe.
2) Hmm, what will you be helping them in?
- We are looking at a continuity in the reed bed project built in 2012, our pilot Cheway run. This time, our output water will be used to water urban gardens the communities have initiated. Hence, we will look forward to their active participation :)

3) What can we expect from the team in December, now that you guys have ended finals?
- First of all, the project leaders and Ops&Tech heads, together with Carol(a zai representative from Mercy Relief) will be heading over to Tacloban for a recce to gauge the feasibility of our programmes and operations. We will update the team after we return on our findings.
- On our local end, we will definitely see some breakthrough and solidification of plans:
-> Cheway! mascot, voted by the team, will be introduced to everyone
-> 1-2 team meetings to keep updates going and also cohesions to bond the people, Dev suggested Sports DAY :))
-> Marketing plans will be solidified and we will approaching potential sponsors
-> Some programmes and fundraising plans will solidify
-> Operations testing and clearance by Prof Khan on the feasibility
-Overall, this will be our busiest period but you can expect us to have lots of fun, because it's Project Cheway! The best one yet :)
Alright, after clearing some Q&A with everyone, let me just share this video with everyone. I think it idealise with me on the cause of Cheway! and I believe it will for you too! Enjoy and watch us too :))
